A very well carved jadeite lion, of Chinese origin, stands on top of an 18 karat gold pedestal. The lion has a movable gold and sapphire ring in its mouth. The underside of the brooch has been carved with floral and foliate motifs. The jadeite sculpture is certified as being untreated.
