This brooch has been designed around the central square-cut aquamarine. This stone has been set in a classical quatrefoil design, surrounded by four pink tourmaline briolettes. These tourmalines have been set in such a way that they move ever so slightly. The pierced silver construction lifts the gemstones high above the clothing of the wearer. The four sides of the tapering shape have been designed as abstracted plant motifs with much attention to detail.
